JBT insulation piercing connectors are applicable for the low voltage aerial cables. These connectors are used to establish connections between bare cable and insulated aluminium cable or insulated copper cable. Installation of JBT can be easily done by tightening the bolts while the main line and tap line are connected simultaneously. Stripping of insulation is avoided for tap line.

Application：

● Special designed shear head bolt allows efficient installation under controlled shear-off torque, the constant piercing pressure ensures that the contact teeth properly penetrate the conductor, ensuring good electrical connection without damaging the mechanical strength of the conductor.

● Elastic seal and silicone grease are applied to prevent moisture entering the cable and conductor which guarantees excellent waterproof and corrosion resistant performance.

● End cap is attached to the body, no loose parts could fall to ground during installation.
